A ed-hardy clothing store will be selling clothes from American designers, including those from the high end of the market such as Ed Hardy and S21, as well as urban and street wear.
Ms Holmes, 47, of Highcroft Drive, Shobnall, said: "I already a run a business but it has always been a dream of mine to open a retail outlet and I met my partner who encouraged me do it.
"We have done it together really.
"I think if you’re brave and see a gap in the market then you should go for it. Some people say it’s crazy to open the shop in a recession but we have done our research and it can only succeed really.
"We are really excited about the opening day and glad it’s here at last as it has been a long time coming.
